Helipark believes that the future of the planet and quality of life of future generations depend on the commitment of everyone today. Therefore, the company’s entire processes and resources are planned to minimize the potential environmental impacts involved.

This environmentally responsible position is expressed in concrete actions such as disposal of toxic, organic and recyclable waste, as well as mobilizing and raising the awareness of the business’s different stakeholders, especially employees.

Helipark is one of the few companies in the aviation market certified by CETESB (The Environmental Protection Department of the State of São Paulo).

Some initiatives:

- At Helipark, waste is totally separated. Recyclable materials are sent to a cooperative, while the toxic waste resulting from blasting and painting processes is incinerated by a specialized company, and much of the organic waste is sent for composting.

- The Helipark paint room has a filtering system that prevents dust particles as small as two microns  from passing into the atmosphere.

- The fueling process is also controlled. Helipark uses a special blanket that can absorb small leakages on the hardstand, preventing any remaining fuel from being washed away by rain.

- Helipark spares no efforts to raise the awareness of its employees, educating them so that the principles of respect for and preservation of the environment are put into practice both in the company and in their homes. To do this, the company promotes campaigns on the conscientious use  of water, light, electricity and office supplies, in addition to fostering selective garbage collection.
