Helibú

Helibú is a pioneer project in Brazil and offers greater security against the growing danger from birds. By replacing the original windscreen with a single, reinforced part, the helicopter is capable of  withstanding bird strikes, suffering only deformations without the glass breaking or shattering.

Helipark created an identical structure to that of the AS350, so as to prove that the material resists the impact of a vulture weighing almost 6 pounds, at speeds of 115 and 126 knots.
